Urban Musical Game
The interface for the interactive system Urban Musical Game is a game that will be held in the place Igor-Stravinsky in front of IRCAM.
Equipped with motion sensors, the balls work like digital interfaces, controlling the parameters of the sound environment pre-composed by Andrea Cera. Users can play with the balls—dribbling, juggling—to control the sounds and create music.
Presented during the digital arts festival Futur en Seine, this system has been created by IRCAM, the digital design agency NoDesign, and the association Phonotronic using the findings from the Interlude project supported by the French national agency for research.
